as you can imagine, shit is just fkd up right now. but i wanna say thank you to all our
friends and family (which are kinda one in the same) for all the love and support.
i’m glad to know that all the love that Yauch has put out into the world is coming right back at him.

Today the world lost an amazing musician and man. Adam Yauch, aka MCA from the Beastie Boys, passed away today. He had been fighting cancer.
The Beastie Boys were my first ‘favorite’ band. I spend so much of my school age years jamming out to their music. I remember attending my first ‘midnight sale’ at a record store to buy the album Hello Nasty. I saw them perform live in Phoenix and it is, to this day, one of my favorite concerts ever attended.
MCA was a Buddhist and the lyrics he wrote about his spirituality was a major reason I became interested in the religion. You will truly be missed, Adam Yauch! R.I.P.
